According to Wikipedia - the word hopia comes from a Chinese word which means good biscuit. It is one of my favorite snacks - and I actually prefer the Hopia Hapon version. It's a pastry filled with red bean. Not very good for people who have problems with their Uric Acid - and I actually suffer from sore joints after binging on Hopia. But --- they're just too good that I let myself suffer through the pain.
