On our last trip to Boracay, I convinced our foreigner guest to take a Paraw ride with me. Paraw is a simple sail boat that you can hire to get a great view of the different parts of the island. It is usually manned by two people. It does not have any motor and it relies on wind (and sometimes paddling - when there's no wind) --- so you can tour in peace and quiet. On this particular ride - it was manned by 2 and 1/2 men. The 1/2 refers to this little boy who gamely posed for a photo. I had many shots that I loved in that vacation - but I think this one is my favorite photo. A lucky shot - but one of the more beautiful pictures that I've captured.
