If you are willing to drive for more than 12 hours to Bangui in Ilocos Norte, on your way to Pagudpud, you will encounter this wind farm. There are 30 of these giants ( 60 meters high ). I bet Don Quixote will go crazi-er when he sees them. They provide much needed electrical power to Ilocos Norte which has been plagued with weak electric power current since the 80s. In 2005, these wind turbines were inaugurated. More of them are planned to be installed across Ilocos and possibly other provinces in our country.
