The fun that I can have with the iPad and the apps from the Apps store continues. This week, I discovered Colorsplash, an application for 1.99 USD which allows photo enthusiasts like me to create magic. With the application, an existing photo is converted to Black and White. The user can then "paint" back the colors on a portion of the photo. The effect definitely provides drama to an otherwise plain photo.
Like any other application, painting is done using one's fingers. Pinch and you make the image smaller. Unpinch and you make it bigger to simplify painting the smaller details of the photo.
